2019 Camryn Dennis is one of the most exciting players I have seen this spring. The Nike Team Griffin Shooting Guard can get to the rim with ease and I have yet to see anyone be able to stop him when he decides to attack. Camryn is at his best in transition where his uncanny driving ability and great vision allow him to score or find an open teammate for an easy basket. He is also a tenacious defender, turning defense into easy offense creating turnovers for the opposing team.
When asked about practice and preparing for the EYBL circuit, Camryn was able to sum it up in just a few words: "Its intense, very competitive. Everyone is going at everyone." It would make sense that Camryn plays with such intensity and energy, at Team Griffin thats the way they practice. Camryn knows his game, stating his biggest strengths as a player were getting to the rim and creating for others. He also understands where he needs work, telling me he needs to become a better shooter. It will be important for Camryn to develop an outside scoring attack to pull in some MM-HM offers which he has the potential to do.
He is working hard this summer in hopes of receiving his first college scholarship. As of right now, Oklahoma is the only school showing interest in Camyrn but expect him to pile on the offers as he continues to perform throughout the spring and summer months.
